Jermaine Jackson to tribute Michael at Toronto show


TORONTO — Jermaine Jackson will commemorate the second anniversary of his brother Michael's death with a special performance in Toronto.

The singer is set to appear alongside Indian performer Sonu Nigam on June 24 at the IIFA Rocks charity event, a marquee concert set for next week's International Indian Film Academy celebrations.

Michael Jackson died in June 2009 at age 50 just as he was about to launch a comeback tour.

The IIFA Rocks music and fashion showcase will be held the day before a star-studded movie awards show often described as the Indian Oscars. It's the first time the gala has been held in North America.

The IIFA Rocks show will be co-hosted by Bollywood stars Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar and promises a parade of Indian and international artists and supermodels.

This is It is a tribute to the legendary Singer/Performer king of Pop Michael Jackson. This song is written & composed by Sonu Nigam in collaboration with Jermaine Jackson (Micahel Jackson's elder brother). Sonu Nigam is big MJ fan & has been highly inspired by MJ songs since his early years. As 25th June is the Death Anniversary of Micahel Jackson, Sonu Nigam and Jermaine Jackson are going to perform this song at IIFA awards in Toronto on June 24th, on the eve of MJ's Death Anniversary. The 2011 IIFA Awards, officially the 12th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, will be held in Toronto, Canada from June 23rd to June 25th, 2011.

When I heard this the only thing I could think of was the interview with Donny Osmond and Donny was saying where he had asked Michael what he needed to do to get his career jump started again and Michael told him "Change your image and your name".

I really did not care for Jermaine saying he is dead unless he of course was talking about the entertainer.

EXACTLY! They said "Is he for real or a pseudonym?" Like someone WHO DIED took his name...just look at Jermaine,he's wearing a glitter glove just to embody Michael there and someone else being away...

Then "Is that all are we gonna hear from him?" ...would somebody ask that about a DEAD person?! NO.

"The world shall find a new Icon" it sounds like a doubt from them...

"I know he's gone for sure" why would they stress the fact that he's dead AFTER they mentioned the "pseudonym" and asked "is that all we're gonna hear from him"

"Till we meet again..." ?! in heaven ?!?!?!

"Thank you for the Legacy" of course thanks for all the money they received thanks to you while you're ...gone...
