I think you were referring to the bold lyrics.Well if you analyze them...

"This is our planet.../...The planets are linin' up/...They're all in line" contradicted by "We Have The Truth/This Is The Mission/.../Not Dangerous"

So he couldn't say "Not dangerous" if he was talking about 2012.Also,doomsday can't bring "brighter days",right? I think he was pointing to a comeback in 2012 when the Planets are lining because then we will have the truth.
